In 2020, Stena Fastigheter, a major Swedish real estate company, launched a digital transformation project to enhance energy efficiency, streamline operations and improve tenant services through smart building technologies.

Partnering with an IoT operator, they deployed LoRaWAN IoT infrastructure across 27,000 apartments, installing sensors for submetering and climate monitoring. Additionally, an analytics platform was integrated to improve data management and operational efficiency.

To support the project, Onaya Consulting was contracted to:
